Baby's teeth get stuck in mesh material - Anne M. Mckoy -
I purchased a Bjorn Synergy carrier a year ago. I loved using it - until my baby started cutting teeth. I would carry her facing out, and she would bite on the carrier. No big deal - until her tooth got caught in one of the little holes in the mesh material. She screamed in pain and blood was coming from her gums. I had to pry her tiny tooth out of the material. The whole ordeal was very scary - for a minute I thought she'd lose the tooth she had just cut. I began using a bib for her to bite whenever I carried her in the Bjorn facing out. About a month later it happened again - she got her teeth stuck in the material. More painful screaming, more blood. It's amazing she still has those teeth. This could be very easily avoided by using a different material for the top portion of the carrier. The holes in the mesh are just right for getting those tiny teeth stuck.
