I have a two year old, and at this point no matter the brand or type I have to get all new bibs once a month due to heavy wear and cleaning. So I needed a plastic or rubber durable bib, that stayed on and didn't scratch my child's neck. This one is it, and all you will ever need is two! The beaded neckline makes all the difference. The plastic is smoothed into round beads that are gentler on the neck because they are rounded and create multiple thicker touch points. No red neckline or scratches on the neck. As for it being easy for a child to get off, by two and up all bibs are easy for a child to pull off, you just have to teach them not to. Also I showed my child how it worked and let her play with it a little before we first started using it so she would be comfortable with it, this seems to have worked, she has never fussed over me putting it on her.
A big added bonus, is that they can go right in to the dishwasher to clean for heavy jobs or just rinse under the faucet.

If You Only Buy One Set of Bibs - Amy - Florida
If you only buy one set of bibs, this should be the one. After all, they never have to be laundered, and the pockets are great for catching wayward items. Also, unlike many plastic lined bibs, this one is made Entirely of plastic; no cloth edging for me. Finally, the trough-like front allows me to drop cereal in it for times when my hands are not clean and he's snacking on the go.
Three things to add: (1) If your child has long hair, it can get caught in the clasp unless you lift it out of the way (common sense). (2) Also, not very fold-able for traveling. For the diaper bag/cooler, I highly recommend the Bibbity Rinse and Roll Bib by Kiddopotamus. Between these two brands, I need no other. (3) I was given the Baby Bjorn bibs by a friend whose two-year old refused to wear them. My son was 10 months at the time and didn't notice a change in bib style. Perhaps introducing the bib to a toddler with a favorite cereal pre-loaded in the "trough" would be more effective.

I have a very messy 10 month old and we have tried every bib out there. Most bibs have a pocket at the bottom but there isn't any way to keep it open and every piece of food that my baby dropped would go straight in his lap. These bibs are shaped so that the pocket is always open and let me tell you it catches everything! Also these are SO easy to clean! Just wipe or rinse them off and you're good to go. I have never tried putting them in the dishwasher because they are so easy to clean by hand but it certainly is nice to know they are tough enough for that. You won't regret buying these and they really do last forever!

Great bibs for children that can feed themselves. Not as good for babies that are still in a highchair, as the highchair tray will interfere with the 'cup' on the bottom of the bib. I have purchased several for gifts.
